Michael from LIVES came to teach us the life saving skill of CPR.

Following the new defibrillator being donated and attached to the front of the school building we invited Michael in, he did a brilliant assembly with all of the children and then specific training with class 2.

Lab Rascals

We were very fortunate to have Lab Rascals come in and show us some science investigations. We got to work with do lots of fun experiments and a final one where the room was filled with gas.

Eden Camp

For our topic ' A Child's War' we went on a trip to Eden camp, we went around all of the huts and ate lunch in a mess hunt. It was a long journey but really helped to capture our imagination and interest in the topic.

Due to the different topics, children sometimes bake/make food and bring it in for us to try. They are delicious! All freshly made from home too.

A week of Sports, Anti - Bullying and....... Dinosaurs.

Week Commencing Monday 12th November was slightly different to a normal week. On Monday morning we were visited by a Great Britain Commonwealth medal winner. Leon Baptiste was very inspiring. Monday afternoon and Tuesday we turned our focus to Anti-Bullying. The child-friendly policy was shared with children and we looked at ways we could help someone who is being bullied.

On Thursday North Cotes came to join us for the day... as well as Pete... THE DINOSAUR! It was very interesting and then we spent the day developing our knowledge of dinosaurs further.
